Jiu Jiu and Jiu Ma are what you call the brother and sister-in-law of your mother in Mandarin (so uncle and aunt but specifically that because I'm Lee's sister).
Jayde (Jiu Ma) left for Burma today and will be gone until March or April. We are so glad that she was in the country for Jack's birth. She is so sweet and loving with him. Proof of what a great Mother she will be! In Chinese tradition when a baby boy is one month old the family makes red hard boiled eggs. Lee and Jayde made beautiful red eggs when we were in Seabrook.
We will really miss you Jayde! Save travels and please come home soon!
