We have been having amazing weather here (with a few crazy days mixed in) and we've made it to the zoo twice in less than a week.
I went with a friend on Wednesday and it was a perfect zoo day. Nearly every animal was out moving around and showing itself off, but the peacock took the prize for beauty and showmanship. It did it's whole deal about a foot away from us (in response to a pesky crow trying to eat her food, not us!) The back view was almost as the cool as the front!

holy peacocks...didn't i read somewhere that they're crazy aggressive? so pretty and they know it!
