It's been a long time since I posted, in part because chasing Jack has around has taken up a lot of time and energy! He started walking with gusto a few days after his birthday and hasn't stopped, except to nap, eat and cuddle! A lot of people comment on what a strong walker he is for his age and for how long he's been doing it. He's very comfortable and is falling less and less, which everyone is happy about (although it definitely bothers us more than it does him!) His other major milestone since I last posted, TEETH! Finally his first bottom two teeth appeared at the end of August and the top two front teeth are either just broken through or days from doing so. He doesn't love to have us poke around in there and since I'm worried that his gums are sore I don't push it.
He's really talking a lot too! He says Dada, Mama, cat and light (of course) but has said button several times, has a word for airplane, dog, water, and splashing. He also says wow and sometimes oh, wow! and yum! We've been having a great time letting him run all around the zoo, children's museum and the aquarium. He's such a cheerful, happy little guy and so fun to spend my days with. I'm one lucky mama!

slow down...it is all happening TOO FAST. he totally isn't a baby any more. i'm not ready for that! he is such a cutie, i just want to snuggle him up - along with that giant stuffed dog.
